The following conditions are only valid for rentals made on the island of Majorca.
Under this contract, the Lessor, (hereinafter "Valls Rent a Car") leases to the lessee, whose data appears on the front, the vehicle whose description appears on the front in this contract (hereinafter, "the Vehicle" ). The lease will be carried out according to the terms and conditions agreed by the Parties in this contract, which replaces any other prior agreement.
A rental day is considered from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. / night. If you want to rent a car for 24 hours, you will be charged a rental day + 50% of the price.
The franchise (150-300€) will be charged on the clients credit card upon pickup. If the customer returns the vehicle in the same condition in which it was collected, we will proceed to the return the deposit. Damages caused to the vehicle that are not covered by the insurance will be charged against the deposit.
In case of any accidents or damages to the vehicle, the customer is required to fill out an accident report and deliver it to our office. Also, if the vehicle is stolen, the customer is required to report it to the police and submit the complaint in our office. Any accidents or damages to the vehicle not notified shall be construed as negligence by the customer and this may incur to additional charges. Valls Rent a car is not responsible for the fees charged by your bank upon the return of the deposit to your credit card. The concerted third party insurance covers the renter and authorized drivers against liability by amount of seventy million euros (70.000.000.- €).
Valls Rent a Car is fully authorized to withdraw the vehicle from the Renter at any time, provided that the term contracted for the rental of the Vehicle has elapsed without its return having ocurred.
NOT INCLUDED ON THE PRICE AND CONSIDERED EXTRAS:
Additional Drivers: € 4 / day. Maximum of € 30 per driver per hire period
Insurance "Young driver" for drivers between 20-23 years old: €15/day (minimum 2 years driving license)
In these cases there is no possibility to cancel the Excess, and hiring is only allowed for group A.
Cabrios insurance always includes 300 euro excess.
Scooters and motorcycles always include insurance with an excess of between €200 - €800 and a deposit of 50 to 150€.

NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE
It is the resposibility of the renter the following cases of loss or damage:
Loss or damage to keys. Expenses of obtaining a duplicate and / or shipping or transport of the set of keys.
All Costs caused due to wrong type of fuel being administered to the vehicle
Damages under the vehicles
Towing Service (only when the client incurs in negligence that is not covered by insurance.)
Damage to clutch
Damage or loss of accesories
Tire break
Payment
VISA and Mastercard are accepted. Both the excess and the return of the excess deposit should always be done with credit cards. Only In the event that the renter chooses the EXTRA INSURANCE, payment by debit card will be allowed.
Fuel policy
Cars must be returned with the same level of fuel it had on the pick up. It will be marked on the contract.
If a car is returned with less fuel 15€ will be charged as a fee plus the price of the fuel missing.
Traffic Fines
Valls Rent a Car charges an administrative fee of 25 Euros (VAT included) to the client when we receive a traffic ticket. Valls Rent a Car is obliged by law to provide information of the renter to the authorities in case of a traffic fine.
This fee does not include the payment of the traffic fine; the customer must pay the authorities directly.
Abandonment of the vehicle
Clients abandoning vehicles elsewhere than the agreed in the lease shall be liable for costs incurred for breach of contract. Moreover, apart from the daily rental fee, a charge of 100 Euros (VAT included) penalty will apply.
Restrictions
Vehicles can not be taken abroad or between islands.
Customers will need to provide us with a local address (flat, apartment, villa, hotel, etc.)
The minimum driver age is 20years, with a driving license with a length of more than 2 years. Drivers over 70 years old have the same conditions as young drivers of 20-23 years.
If the vehicle category reserved is not available at the time of collection, we will provide one upgrade at no additional cost.
The insurance does not cover, in any case, accidents or damages caused to the vehicle by driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medications or any other substance that reduces the driver′s ability, or when the driver is not one of the authorized drivers in the contract, or even so, if the damages occur due to breach of what is established in the contract or the basic traffic regulations.
The transport of goods or animals is not permitted. Non-observance of this regulation can be a special cleaning, provided the customer with up to €95.
The Lessee may not assign, rent, mortgage, sell or give in any form of Guarantee: the vehicle, the keys, the documentation / equipment / tools. It is prohibited to use the Vehicle for paid passenger transportation, towing or competitions.
Only people identified and accepted by Valls Rent a Car are authorized to drive
Cleaning
The rental price includes a standard cleaning of the vehicle, however, if the vehicle is returned extremely dirty, Valls Rent a Car will be forced to charge € 95 for special cleaning.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations and refund of your down payment, contact us 48 hours before the start of your rental.
Late return of the vehicle
If the vehicle is returned later than the date agreed in the lease, the insurance will be invalidated, and the customer will be responsible for payment of € 30.00 per day (VAT included). In addition to this payment, the customer will also be responsible for paying the daily rental rate.
